Tough Love
Prin has really stepped off the pier into the deep waters of "oh shit" around here. Not even gonna go into what she's done but we hit the wall tonight. She had better be glad Dave got home when he did.
She had better be glad that he can pick me up and keep me back.
That is why she still has a face and some hair.
I know they do face transplants now so really that's not an issue and hair grows back.
Just to let you know how seriously her little life has changed...she now has the following items:
1 towel - to be washed everynight (gots her very own name on it too)
2 shirts
2 pairs pants
2 plain colored cartigans
1 pair tennis shoes
1 pair boots
1 really warm and ugly ass jacket
Guess she'll be doing wash and wear every other day
1 pillow
2 blankets
2 sheets
1 wooby
The rest of it, packed away in the attic. Hundreds of dollars worth of electronics, games, toys, clothes, cds, etc.........
The books we left. She'll need something to do in the evenings.
Bootcamp starts around here for her asap.
I'll make a citizen out of her yet.

ouchy..... what's happened??
I love your parenting style. It sounds much like ours, that our friends love to cmoment on being to harsh.
But our kids make better grades, and behave far better than any of theirs. They also have manners.
This does not mean they are perfect, we have to bring them back to reality occassionally as well.
I see it this way, what you are doing gives them a glimpse at what prison could be like, so maybe they will want to avoid it :-P
We are being tested, in a big way. But it's a test of wills and I WILL WIN.
Thanks guys, we're hanging tough but it's more like bootcamp than prison....will explain more soon
