The Battle is On
We have begun. It's like a redneck version of Mad Max over here. Dave was my hero. He came in from work, ate dinner and then after dinner when we found the LICE (gag) he did the store runs and stayed up some to help me do the treatments. If I wasn't so paranoid about getting lice myself, this whole process would be fascinating. Duchess is actually looking at it from a scientific view: she wants to put the dead bugs under the microscope, this is not from my side of the family, come to think of it, Dave's either.
But the fun part, we are now commencing the soaking of the head. We are coated in pure olive oil and covered/smothered in the ski cap. Die buggies, die. And on the side note: my hands have never been so soft, yummy.
I wanted you to know how much I enjoy your blogs. I stumbled upon you on one of my very first days here and you have been a source I draw on for so many things.
My blogs are very "heavy" and meant to be a type of therapy for me but after writing, I truly need a lift, something to change my mindset and your blogs do that.
They are full of so much humor and family love, as well as down right comical reality that it really helps to balance me out and lift that cloud I feel over me after I write.
Thank you so much, and I Look forward to reading about your family adventures for a long time to come.
Awww that's sweet, thank you! Being so far from family, this started as a way to keep them involved, now it's become much more as it's the place where I can verbally spaz everything that's going on in my life. :)
